Does ASSIST have a Big/Little Program? Yes
What does the Big/Little Experience entail?
Freshmen are placed into a cluster at the beginning of the year and each cluster is comprised of 12 freshmen, 2 bigs, and 3 mentors. The clusters meet weekly on Thursday nights and are fun, non mandatory social events run by the bigs. Some past cluster events have included fun activities such as Bob Ross painting nights, visiting trampoline parks, and murder mystery parties. These Big/Little based clusters are a great way for freshmen to de-stress and meet knew people throughout the organization. Additionally, the Big/Little Program puts on a Big/Little Tailgate, Big/Little Service Project, and a Big/Little road trip each year. The bigs are encouraged to attend many of the ASSIST events, allowing them to become very close with their freshmen.
